Mawhiba Concludes Summer Enrichment Programs Benefiting Over 13,400 Students Across Saudi Arabia
The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, known as Mawhiba, has successfully wrapped up its 2025 summer enrichment programs. These initiatives were conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and 70 scientific entities, including universities, research centres, and hospitals. Over 13,400 students from various parts of the Kingdom participated in these programs.
Held across 24 cities and governorates over a month, the programs were available both in-person and online. They are among the largest extracurricular educational events in the Arab world and Middle East. The aim is to discover and nurture gifted individuals through these initiatives.

Mawhiba offered 105 specialized programs focusing on advanced educational and research experiences. These covered STEM fields, artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, renewable energy, engineering, biomedical sciences, advanced mathematics, creative design, digital forensics, and other disciplines aligned with the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Students engaged in hands-on learning and intensive training at universities and specialized centres. This was under the guidance of leading local and international experts. The learning environments combined theoretical knowledge with practical applications to meet the needs of gifted students.
The strong participation in these enrichment programs highlights a growing societal awareness about nurturing young minds towards excellence. It also reflects Mawhiba’s dedication to preparing a creative Saudi generation equipped for future challenges.
This initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 by fostering an innovation- and knowledge-based economy. Mawhiba aims to equip students with future tools to lead national transformation efforts effectively.
