This evaluation is crucial for transporting pilgrims during their journey to Arafat as part of the Hajj 1446 AH season plans. The visit included a detailed briefing on operational strategies.

Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Chairman of Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR), provided insights into crowd management and train scheduling. Mashaer Metro Train Readiness for Hajj Inspected

The Prince boarded a train heading to Mina 3 (Jamarat) station to inspect its readiness for pilgrims. This station connects directly to the fourth level of the Jamarat Bridge, ensuring safe movement during the stoning ritual. The infrastructure supports efficient pilgrim flow, enhancing their overall experience during this significant religious event.

The Mashaer Metro Train operates with five flexible movement patterns tailored to different pilgrimage stages. It can reach speeds up to 80 kilometers per hour. With 17 trains in its fleet, each carrying 3,000 passengers, it can transport up to 72,000 passengers hourly. This capacity is vital for managing large crowds efficiently.

Prince Abdulaziz also reviewed the deployment of Facilities Security Forces around train stations. Their role includes managing pedestrian flow and crowd control, essential for maintaining order during Hajj. He received updates on their operational plans and how they support the Hajj Security Forces in ensuring safety.

The coordination between various entities is crucial for seamless operations during Hajj. The integration of security measures with logistical planning ensures that pilgrims can perform their rituals without disruptions or safety concerns.

This comprehensive approach highlights Saudi Arabia's commitment to facilitating a smooth pilgrimage experience through meticulous planning and execution. By leveraging advanced transportation systems like the Mashaer Metro Train, authorities aim to enhance pilgrim safety and convenience throughout their journey.
