Saudi Marvels Orchestra Shines At AlUla's Maraya Hall In Cultural Showcase
The Music Commission held the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra concerts at Maraya Hall in AlUla Governorate, under the patronage and attendance of Minister of Culture Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan. The programme presented a large-scale orchestral experience that highlighted Saudi Arabia’s musical development and displayed national artistic work at a leading international cultural and tourism destination.
AlUla was selected as a main stop for the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra because of its historic depth and growing cultural tourism role. The governorate’s archaeological landscapes and living heritage attract visitors from many countries, turning the area into a meeting point for cultures and an expression of the Kingdom’s cultural identity and human legacy.

The Marvels of Saudi Orchestra concerts reinterpreted well-known Saudi melodies through contemporary orchestral arrangements. The Saudi National Orchestra and Choir performed pieces that combined traditional musical elements with modern techniques, reflecting the Kingdom’s artistic diversity. Performances showed high artistic accuracy, underlining the progress of local musical skills and their ability to communicate with audiences used to international standards.
Through these concerts, the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir continued a broader project to present Saudi musical heritage on major stages. The ensemble has appeared at leading venues inside the Kingdom and abroad, and AlUla formed a significant addition to this path. The stop strengthened links between Saudi musical content and visitors who come to the site for culture and tourism.
The Music Commission stated that hosting the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra concerts in AlUla adds qualitative value to the project’s path and supports national creative talent. The initiative aims to expand the local and international presence of Saudi music and highlight the Kingdom’s cultural and artistic diversity, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals for culture, development, and quality of life.
