Marvels Of Saudi Orchestra In AlUla Under Culture Minister Patronage
Under the patronage of Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Music Commission Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the Music Commission is presenting "The Marvels of Saudi Orchestra" concerts in AlUla on 22 and 23 January, bringing the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir to one of the Kingdom’s most important cultural destinations.
The event, titled "Marvels of Saudi Orchestra– AlUla", forms part of an ongoing programme through which the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir share Saudi musical heritage with audiences on leading stages inside and outside the Kingdom, while strengthening the national music sector and its visibility.

The two concerts are scheduled over consecutive evenings at Maraya Concert Hall, a globally recognised venue in AlUla. The hall is known for its mirrored exterior and modern design, which reflect the surrounding landscape and create a visual setting where performances are framed by both contemporary architecture and the natural environment.
AlUla itself is a major cultural and tourism destination, with a history that stretches back many centuries and is closely linked to human civilisation. Its archaeological sites, heritage locations and landscapes attract visitors from around the world, making it a key cultural hub that presents the depth of Saudi identity and the Kingdom’s developing role in global cultural tourism.
The Saudi National Orchestra and Choir have already presented Saudi melodies in several prominent capitals and cities worldwide, performing on notable international stages where audiences responded with strong engagement and positive reactions. Bringing "Marvels of Saudi Orchestra" to AlUla continues this series of appearances in a region regarded as one of Saudi Arabia’s most culturally significant areas.
By choosing Maraya Concert Hall and AlUla for these performances, the Music Commission aims to reinforce the presence of Saudi music, present the Kingdom’s artistic and cultural diversity, and provide residents and visitors with a musical experience that reflects national identity, supports the wider cultural scene, and aligns with efforts to enhance Saudi Arabia’s position on the global cultural tourism map.
