Mansour Bin Zayed Engages With UAE Executive Councils To Discuss National Priorities And Key Projects

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, recently engaged with the Secretaries-General of the UAE Executive Councils. This meeting was part of the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025 in Abu Dhabi. The discussions focused on national priorities for the future and evaluated key projects aimed at enhancing government efforts across the nation.

The meeting highlighted recent achievements in various sectors, such as the Nafis programme, Etihad Rail network, and energy initiatives. Discussions also included proposals to bolster collaboration among government entities, forming joint teams to implement innovative solutions and launch pilot projects to improve public services and streamline procedures.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour emphasised that under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's leadership and directives from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE continues its development journey. This journey is guided by an integrated institutional framework prioritising the nation's and citizens' future.

He stressed that Executive Councils are crucial for ensuring coordination among government entities. This coordination aims to enhance global competitiveness and build a sustainable knowledge-based economy aligned with leadership's vision and citizens' aspirations.

The meeting addressed recent national achievements in development sectors. It also discussed proposals to strengthen collaboration among government entities across the UAE. Forming joint teams to implement innovative solutions across various sectors was a key focus, along with launching pilot projects to enhance public services.

The discussions underscored the importance of following up on joint government initiatives and key national files. Particular attention was given to housing, healthcare, infrastructure, logistics, and programmes that boost the UAE’s business environment competitiveness.

The meeting saw attendance from notable figures including Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; Maryam Al Hammadi, Minister of State; Rashid Al Ameri from the Presidential Court; Sheikh Abdullah bin Humaid Al Qasimi from Ras Al Khaimah; Saif Saeed Ghobash from Abu Dhabi; Abdulla Al Basti from Dubai; Asma Rashid bin Taliah from Sharjah; Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani from Fujairah; and Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi from Umm Al Quwain.

His Highness called for intensified efforts to keep pace with growth across various sectors. He urged overcoming challenges while maintaining national achievements. Aligning government plans and supporting initiatives that promote integration were also highlighted as essential steps forward.
