Mansour Bin Zayed Leads UAE Delegation To The 45th GCC Summit In Kuwait, Emphasising Cooperation

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representing UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, led the UAE delegation at the 45th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit. The summit commenced in Kuwait under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait.

The UAE delegation included several prominent figures: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mohammed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs; Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Abdullah bin Sultan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice; Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment; Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; along with other senior officials.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour expressed gratitude to the Emir of Kuwait for the warm reception and praised the organisation of the summit. He also acknowledged the efforts by Qatar during its presidency of the previous GCC Summit. His Highness emphasised that joint Gulf cooperation is crucial for fulfilling the aspirations and interests of GCC member states and their people.

He highlighted that building on past achievements is essential for further integration among GCC countries. This integration aims to enhance development and prosperity for their citizens. His Highness reiterated that the UAE remains committed to supporting this process due to its belief in strong fraternal ties among member states.

His Highness extended an invitation to GCC leaders to attend the 46th GCC Summit in Abu Dhabi. This gesture underscores the UAE's commitment to fostering unity and collaboration within the region.

Earlier today, upon his arrival in Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Mansour was warmly welcomed by several dignitaries including His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait; His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait; and His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait.

The Secretary-General of the GCC, Jassem Al Budaiwi, along with other Sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials from Kuwait were also present during his arrival.

The summit aims to result in decisions that bolster joint action among GCC members. These decisions are expected to serve the interests and meet the aspirations of people across member states.
