Mansour Bin Zayed Attends Zayed Camel Race Grand Prize 2025 Celebrating UAE Heritage
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, attended the third day of the Zayed Camel Race Grand Prize 2025. The event, featuring thousands of camels from the UAE and GCC countries, will continue until 1st December. Sheikh Mansour observed part of the competitions at Al Wathba Camel Race Track in Abu Dhabi.
The races included the main Laqaya category, covering a distance of 5 kilometres on the southern track during the evening session. Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President and Chairman of the Camel Racing Federation, along with senior officials and camel owners from the UAE and GCC, were also present.
Sheikh Mansour honoured sponsors and strategic partners of the Sheikh Zayed Festival. This took place in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan and other senior officials. A luncheon was hosted by Sheikh Sultan at his majlis in Al Wathba, attended by prominent camel owners from across the region.
During his visit, Sheikh Mansour engaged in discussions with attendees about camel racing's significance. He highlighted how the Zayed Camel Race Grand Prize 2025 reinforces this heritage sport's status as a leading festival in the region, known for its ongoing success.
Participants praised UAE leadership for their extensive support of camel racing. They acknowledged that valuable prizes have elevated its stature as one of the country's most important sports. This support has helped maintain its prominence and appeal among enthusiasts.
