Mansour Bin Zayed Announces Winners Of The 18th Khalifa Award For Education In 2025

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who serves as Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, has announced the winners for the 18th edition of the Khalifa Award for Education for 2025. This year, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan received the "Distinguished Educational Personality" title for his significant contributions to education at various levels.

The award this year honours 48 recipients from different countries. Among them are three Emirati families recognised with the "Distinguished Emirati Family" award for their dedication to their children's education. Additionally, individuals and institutions from nations like the United States, France, and Morocco have been acknowledged under the newly introduced "Khalifa International Award for Early Learning Field." This category highlights exemplary practices in early childhood care globally.

Khalifa Award for Education Winners Announced

A ceremony to celebrate these achievements will be held on 29th May at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi. The event will be under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed and will see attendance from prominent educational figures and decision-makers both locally and internationally.

Humaid Al-Houti, Secretary-General of the Award, highlighted that this edition attracted participants from over 48 countries, showcasing its international prestige. He commended H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed's recognition, noting that it underscores individuals with exceptional contributions to education through one of its most esteemed categories.

Al Houti further explained that the award aligns with directives from H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. These directives aim to strengthen education's role as a fundamental pillar in UAE’s development strategy.

The Khalifa Award for Education continues to celebrate excellence by recognising those who significantly impact educational advancement worldwide. By acknowledging diverse contributions across various sectors, it fosters a global dialogue on best practices in education.
