Mansoor Bin Mohammed Reviews Advanced Security Measures By Dubai Customs At Jebel Ali Port

H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Border Security Council, recently assessed the efforts of Dubai Customs in enhancing port security and combating smuggling at Jebel Ali Port. The visit included a review of the smart inspection ecosystem, which is bolstered by advanced artificial intelligence technologies. These efforts reflect Dubai's commitment to safeguarding the community and preventing illegal material smuggling.

During the visit, H.H. Sheikh Mansoor was informed about the operational capabilities of sophisticated inspection devices. Notably, these include the 'gantry' container-scanning system and a radiation-monitoring network. These systems are among the most advanced globally for detecting radioactive and prohibited materials due to their high penetration capability across containers, vehicles, and heavy equipment.

Dr. Abdulla Busenad, Director-General of Dubai Customs, affirmed that they continue to reinforce Dubai’s position as a safe global trade hub by developing national talent and driving innovation. This aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 while ensuring sustainable border and port security.
