Mansoor Bin Mohammed Highlights Importance Of Coordination In Dubai Airport's Border Security Operations
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Border Security Council, emphasised the importance of streamlined procedures and coordination among government agencies to maintain Dubai's leadership in travel security and efficient passenger flow. He stressed that fast customs operations are crucial for sustaining the emirate's competitive advantage.
During a visit to Dubai International Airport (DXB), Sheikh Mansoor reviewed operations involving key government entities like Dubai Police and Dubai Customs. The visit aimed to evaluate the readiness of these teams to handle the increasing passenger traffic. His Highness highlighted that the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has positioned Dubai as a global leader in aviation.

Passenger Traffic Surge at DXB
Dubai International Airport saw a 2.3% increase in passenger traffic, reaching 46 million in H1 2025—the busiest first half ever recorded. January marked its highest monthly traffic with 8.5 million passengers. The surge in global travel is expected to further increase passenger flows through Dubai.
This growth underscores Dubai's position as a global gateway for travel and international transit, setting benchmarks for aviation excellence worldwide.
