Mansoor Bin Mohammed Celebrates Football Excellence At 15th Globe Soccer Dubai Awards Ceremony

H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, awarded the winners at the 15th Globe Soccer Dubai Awards. The event took place at Atlantis, The Palm, alongside the 19th Dubai International Sports Conference. This annual gala recognises excellence in football, including playing, coaching, and management.

Among the notable winners was Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr., who was named Best Player. Real Madrid's manager Carlo Ancelotti received the Best Coach award. Cristiano Ronaldo, playing for Al-Nassr, was honoured as Best Middle East Player and Top Goal Scorer of All Time.

Vinícius Jr., also a winger for Brazil, secured the Best Forward title. Jude Bellingham, an emerging English midfielder, won both Best Midfielder and the Maradona Award. Lamine Yamal from Barcelona was recognised as Emerging Player for his impressive performances.

H.H. Sheikh Mansoor praised the winners for their dedication and achievements. He encouraged them to continue striving for greatness and to act as ambassadors of hope and resilience in sports.

The ceremony began with the presentation of the Dubai Globe Soccer Digital Awards. Other awards highlighted exceptional contributions to professional football. Alessandro Del Piero received the 50th Anniversary Career Award for his legendary career with Juventus.

Neymar Jr., known for his success with clubs like Barcelona and PSG, was celebrated for his flair on the field. Rio Ferdinand was acknowledged for his outstanding defensive career with Manchester United and England.

Acknowledging Global Talent

Thibaut Courtois earned recognition for his performances with Real Madrid and Belgium. Aitana Bonmati from FC Barcelona received the Best Women’s Player award for her remarkable talent.

Al Ain Club from UAE won Best Club in the Middle East, accepted by Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Jorge Mendes of Gestifute claimed Best Agent while Hugo Viana from Sporting CP was named Best Sporting Director.

Honouring Clubs and Leaders

FC Barcelona was awarded Best Women's Club while Real Madrid took home Best Men's Club honours. Florentino Perez, Chairman of Real Madrid, received recognition as Best President.

Khalfan Belhoul, Vice Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, attended alongside officials from various Dubai government departments and global sports organisations.

The event underscored sports' role in uniting cultures and inspiring future generations. H.H. Sheikh Mansoor urged winners to promote collaboration and inclusivity through their success on and off the field.
