Maktoum Bin Mohammed Reviews Operations Of Dubai Public Prosecution And Judicial System Advancements
H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, highlighted the significant achievements of Dubai's judicial system. He attributed these successes to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. This vision aims to position Dubai as a leading global city by ensuring justice is delivered swiftly and accurately.
The new building for Dubai Public Prosecution is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. It meets international standards to ensure efficient investigative procedures and high-quality public services. The building supports the judicial system's role in protecting rights through its cohesive operational structure.
Sheikh Maktoum stressed the need to enhance efforts towards achieving excellence in the judicial system. This would further solidify Dubai’s leadership in providing exceptional legal services that set new global benchmarks. He praised the Public Prosecution's dedication to upholding law and order, safeguarding public assets, and creating a secure environment for growth.
During his visit to the new Public Prosecution building, Sheikh Maktoum was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and other senior officials like Abdulla Al Basti and Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh. Chancellor Essam Issa Al Humaidan, Attorney-General of Dubai, welcomed them along with other senior officials.
The new facility includes offices for over 700 employees, including Public Prosecutors and technical staff. It is designed to foster productivity and excellence in a conducive work environment. The building also features meeting rooms, training areas, a Family Reconciliation Room, and Juvenile Prosecution facilities.
A dedicated Children’s Room provides psychological counselling in a welcoming setting during investigations. An on-site nursery caters to employees’ children while a fitness centre encourages an active lifestyle among staff members.
Advanced Technology Integration
The building incorporates advanced remote investigation rooms and AI-enhanced communication tools. These technologies allow investigations and legal processes to be conducted efficiently without requiring individuals' physical presence at the offices.
At the conclusion of his tour, Sheikh Maktoum commended all judicial entities for their collaborative efforts in achieving Dubai’s judicial objectives. He acknowledged their commitment to maintaining high standards within the emirate’s legal framework.
