Skilled personnel at Pakistani airports, deployed by the initiative, maintain the highest professional standards to ensure the security, safety, and health of pilgrims. Continuous monitoring guarantees compliance with health standards and service quality. Performance indicators are in place to evaluate the personnel's performance assigned to this crucial task on a 24/7 basis.

Furthermore, the initiative emphasizes the significance of standards and indicators for consistent, high-quality service for pilgrims. These standards and indicators are constantly reviewed and updated in collaboration with partners to ensure their effectiveness in serving pilgrims.

The initiative operates through precise stages, starting with assessing readiness at the airports of beneficiary countries. Trained supervisors conduct field inspections to ensure lounge readiness, including work points and counters, and continuously measure wait times and level of satisfaction with the services.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs at the Pakistani Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Zulfiquar Haider said that the expansion of the Makkah Route Initiative has greatly facilitated procedures for Pakistani beneficiaries, making their journey to Makkah easier and simpler.

Haider also mentioned that the initiative, launched in Pakistan in 2019, has evolved over time and recently expanded by adding a new lounge at Karachi International Airport alongside that at Islamabad International Airport. He expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the initiative, acknowledging its role in expediting and facilitating the procedures pilgrims must carry out.

The Makkah Route Initiative continues to enhance its services through ongoing improvements and collaborations with partners. By maintaining high standards and leveraging advanced technologies, it aims to provide a seamless experience for all pilgrims embarking on their spiritual journey.
