Makkah Region Deputy Governor Leads Hajj And Umrah Committee Meeting For 1446 AH Season

Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, led the initial meeting of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah. This gathering was held to assess the plans and preparations for the 1446 AH Hajj season. The meeting also evaluated ongoing projects designed to support this year's pilgrimage operations.

The Government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been committed to facilitating pilgrims' journeys. They have mobilized all necessary resources, both material and human, to ensure that pilgrims can perform their rituals with ease, peace of mind, and security.

The committee also examined environmental initiatives at holy sites. A project aims to plant 10,000 trees, which will enhance air quality and reduce temperatures. These efforts are intended to lessen environmental impacts on pilgrims during their stay.
