Make It In The Emirates Expands To Cover 12 Strategic Industrial Sectors For Future Growth
The ADNEC Group has revealed that the upcoming Make it in the Emirates event will broaden its focus to include 12 key sectors. This initiative aims to boost current industries and explore new growth opportunities. Organised by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), with partners like ADNOC, this event highlights the UAE's dedication to a competitive industrial sector driven by cutting-edge technology.
Make it in the Emirates 2025 is poised to be its largest edition yet, covering 50,000 square metres at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. It will host a record number of brands, companies, startups, and entrepreneurs. This expansion aligns with MoIAT's Operation 300bn strategy, emphasising advanced technologies, local production, and international partnerships to shape manufacturing's future in the UAE.

This year's event introduces a Food, Beverage & Agricultural Tech sector. It will showcase innovations in sustainable food production and precision agriculture to bolster food security. The Pharmaceuticals & Medical Tech sector will highlight biotech advancements and digital healthcare solutions transforming medicine.
The Ship, Maritime & Boat Manufacturing sector will demonstrate Emirati expertise in vessel construction and marine engineering. The Metals & Fabrication sector will present advancements in metalworking processes that enhance efficiency and sustainability across industries.
The Handicrafts sector will blend traditional craftsmanship with modern applications, showing how cultural heritage can integrate into contemporary industries. Meanwhile, the Advanced Manufacturing, AI & Industry 4.0 sector will delve into automation and smart factory solutions defining manufacturing's future.
A Chemicals, Plastics & Sustainable Materials sector will focus on eco-friendly innovations and circular economy solutions for various industries. Discussions on green hydrogen's role in sustainable fuel alternatives will be central to the Hydrogen sector.
