Make It In The Emirates Awards 2025 Winners Recognised For Contributions To UAE's Industrial Sector
The jury for the third Make it in the Emirates Awards has convened to select winners who are pivotal in transforming the UAE's industrial landscape. The winners will be revealed on the first day of Make it in the Emirates 2025, scheduled at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from May 19-22. This event is organised by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT).
The awards aim to celebrate significant contributions to the UAE's industrial sector, focusing on localisation, technological leadership, manufacturing excellence, and youth empowerment. This year's judging panel includes prominent figures from government, industry, and academia. Among them are Dr. Sultan AlNeyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs; Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of MoIAT; and Dr. Farah AlZarouni, Assistant Undersecretary for Standards and Regulations at MoIAT.

Other notable judges include Hamad Al Marar, CEO of Edge Group; Shaista Asif, Group CEO of PureHealth; Norinao Sato, President & CEO of Yokogawa Middle East & Africa; Prof. Steve Liu from Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI); Ahmed Rahma Al Masood from Al Masood Group; and Samia Bouazza from Multiply Group. These experts have identified winners across nine categories under five strategic pillars: In-Country Value, Factory of the Future, Industry Enablers, Leadership and Talent, and UAE Traditional Crafts.
Dr. AlNeyadi emphasised the importance of youth in economic development: "In line with the directives of our leadership, the UAE places strong emphasis on the role of youth in driving sustainable economic development. They are the foundation of our industrial and advanced technology sectors. Through these awards, we celebrate their achievements and honor the next generation of Emirati pioneers shaping the future of industry."
Al Suwaidi highlighted that these awards align with the UAE's vision for a globally competitive industrial sector: "The Make it in the Emirates Awards reflect the UAE’s vision of building a globally competitive industrial sector contributing to advancing an innovation-based economy. This year’s exceptional jury, comprising leaders with deep expertise and insight, helped us recognise and honour the UAE’s most outstanding industrial achievements during the fourth edition of Make it in the Emirates."
The 2025 edition is themed "Advanced Industries. Accelerated" and promises to be its largest yet. It will feature over 700 exhibitors showcasing more than 3,800 products made in the UAE. The event is expected to draw over 30,000 visitors.
