MAJRA Launches Impact Stream Digital Gateway To Enhance CSR Initiatives Aligned With ESG Metrics

The National CSR Fund, known as MAJRA, has introduced the MAJRA Impact Stream, a digital platform designed to channel private sector contributions into innovative Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. These initiatives align with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards and national priorities. This announcement was made at a press conference that also launched the MAJRA Sustainable Impact platform.

During the event, partnerships were announced between MAJRA and several educational institutions, including Dubai University, Umm Al Quwain University, and MBRSG. These collaborations aim to enrich the Knowledge Square platform with diverse content such as studies, articles, training programs, and specialized workshops. This initiative allows training hours to be counted towards private sector employees' development credits.

Abdullah Al Saleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Vice Chairman of MAJRA's Board of Trustees, emphasized the significance of this launch. He stated that it represents a crucial step in promoting CSR principles and ESG practices integral to their identity. "The launch of MAJRA Impact Stream marks a pivotal moment in the journey and dedication to fostering CSR principles and ESG practices," he said.

Sarah Shaw, Director of MAJRA - The National CSR Fund, highlighted the goals of enhancing transparency and accountability across sectors through this initiative. She noted that it aims to unify efforts and amplify the impact of CSR activities. "With the launch of MAJRA Impact Stream, our goal is to enhance transparency, accountability and trust across sectors in their CSR and ESG activities," she stated.

The MAJRA Impact Stream focuses on four main principles: Listen, Unify, Magnify, and Certify. This digital gateway is part of MAJRA’s strategy to bolster companies' CSR frameworks. It aims to position the UAE as a global leader in sustainable impact by providing a unified platform for knowledge sharing and impact measurement.

Through these efforts, MAJRA seeks to foster inclusiveness and create positive social change. By enabling private sector involvement in sustainable development initiatives, it aims to advance national progress in this area.

The initiative also encourages collaboration within the MAJRA Community by offering a space for individuals and organizations to share experiences and innovative ideas. This collaborative approach is intended to elevate positive change across various sectors.
