Madinah Completes Preparations To Welcome Post-Hajj Pilgrims Via Bus And High-Speed Rail

Authorities in Madinah have completed preparations to welcome pilgrims returning to the Prophet’s Mosque after Hajj. These efforts ensure a smooth and spiritually fulfilling experience for visitors. Under the guidance of Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, agencies are implementing detailed plans for the post-Hajj period.

The first groups of pilgrims are expected to arrive on the evening of 12th Dhu al-Hijjah. They will travel by bus and the Haramain High-Speed Train. Authorities are closely monitoring operations to maintain smooth traffic flow on major routes like the Hijrah Expressway. Precautionary measures are also in place to ensure security and ease of movement on roads leading into Madinah, such as Qassim and Tabuk.

Madinah Welcomes Post-Hajj Pilgrims

The General Authority for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque has initiated an integrated plan to prepare the mosque for pilgrims. This includes ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. A total of 141 doors will be opened to accommodate both male and female pilgrims, with 100 pathways managed by spatial guidance teams to organize movement within the mosque complex.

Special arrangements have been made for access to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa. Entry is regulated through pre-booked appointments on official applications, ensuring crowd capacity is adhered to while providing a smooth experience. Informational digital screens guide visitors through designated entry points, enhancing their spiritual visit.

Zamzam water bottles are distributed to enhance the spiritual experience of visitors. These efforts facilitate voluntary prayers in Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa and allow many pilgrims to offer greetings to Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) and his two companions.

The coordinated efforts reflect Madinah's dedication to providing a seamless post-Hajj experience for all pilgrims. The comprehensive operational plans demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, security, and hospitality during this significant period.
