Madinah Prepares Fleet Of 200 Buses For Ramadan Shuttle Services

The Madinah Region Development Authority recently announced the completion of preparations for the Madinah Buses project, set to launch during the holy month of Ramadan 1445 AH. This initiative introduces a fleet of approximately 200 modern buses designed to facilitate the transportation of visitors to significant religious sites in Madinah, including the Prophet's Mosque and the Quba Mosque, throughout Ramadan this year.

With the introduction of seven shuttle service routes, the project aims at easing access to and from the Prophet's Mosque. Additionally, a special station will cater to those travelling to and from the Quba Mosque. The shuttle service is scheduled to operate from 3 pm until one hour post-Tarawih prayer, extending its service during the last ten days of Ramadan to half an hour after the Qiyam prayer.

Key pick-up locations for these services include the Sports Stadium, Durrat Al-Madinah, Sayed Alshuhda', the Islamic University, AlKhaldiha Neighborhood, and Bani Harithah.
