The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an has launched its latest Social Incubator programme in collaboration with startAD, the startup accelerator powered by Tamkeen and based at NYU Abu Dhabi. This edition, following a successful 9th cohort earlier this year, will focus on ‘Entrepreneurship for Social Impact’.
Applications for this cohort are open until September 10, 2024. Start-ups addressing priorities such as People of Determination, Senior Citizens Services, Youth Rehabilitation and Support Services, Blue Collar Workers Wellbeing, Domestic Violence Victim Support and Advocacy Services, Individual Reintegration and Rehabilitation, and Economic Empowerment are encouraged to apply.

The latest cohort welcomes founders of all nationalities and ages to ensure a diverse range of innovators. Participants will receive comprehensive support packages to help elevate their social enterprises. The Ma’an Social Incubator aims to support 30 promising start-ups in upcoming cohorts by providing resources for networking and mentorship.
This initiative fosters a dynamic work environment built on collaboration and critical thinking where businesses can thrive. The programme is designed to provide opportunities for businesses to bring their ideas to life.
To support the latest Social Incubator cohorts, Majra – the National CSR Fund – has certified the programme with the 'Verified Sustainable Impact Project Stamp.' This recognition underscores the project's alignment with the UAE’s national priorities and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
