M42 Establishes M42 Saudi Arabia To Support Vision 2030 Healthcare Goals

M42, a leader in global health driven by AI, technology, and genomics, has officially launched M42 Saudi Arabia. This development was announced at the Global Health Exhibition in Riyadh, highlighting M42's commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 healthcare goals. The new entity builds on a 12-year partnership with the Saudi Ministry of Health, operating over 40 Diaverum clinics across 33 cities.

M42 Saudi Arabia will continue offering renal care through its Diaverum clinics. The company plans to explore partnerships in advanced patient care, multi-omics, and population health programmes. These initiatives include managing metabolic and lifestyle diseases and integrating cutting-edge digital solutions. This launch aligns with M42’s goal to support Saudi Arabia's shift towards precision, preventive, and predictive healthcare.

M42 Launches M42 Saudi Arabia for Healthcare Growth

Dimitris Moulavasilis, Group CEO of M42, emphasised the significance of Saudi Arabia as a key partner in regional healthcare transformation. He stated, "As the largest market in the Middle East and North Africa region, Saudi Arabia is an important partner in the region’s healthcare transformation. The incorporation of M42 Saudi Arabia is a natural step for us in building a globally scaled health intelligence ecosystem that works in partnership with local institutions to shift from reactive care to precision, prevention and prediction."

M42's ambitions extend beyond Saudi Arabia. In Bahrain, they plan to offer long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation services through Amana Healthcare – Bahrain, partnering with Mumtalakat. This initiative will be based in Al Jasra. Meanwhile, in Jordan, M42 has launched the Digital Health Centre, a virtual hospital connecting five remote hospitals to a central command centre in Alsalt.

Ziyad Kabli, Chief Operating Officer for Middle East and Asia at M42, highlighted their decade-long focus on renal care in Saudi Arabia through Diaverum. He noted that the establishment of M42 Saudi Arabia signifies their expansion from specialised services to broader system-wide collaboration in precision health.

The launch of M42 Saudi Arabia represents a significant step forward for both M42 and the Kingdom. By leveraging advanced technologies and strategic partnerships, they aim to enhance healthcare delivery across the region. This initiative supports Vision 2030's ambition for a sustainable health system focused on precision medicine.
