AMAALA Advances Towards Completion: A Beacon Of Luxury And Wellness
Red Sea Global (RSG) is making significant strides in developing AMAALA, a new luxury destination focused on wellness. This project aims to enhance the quality of life by promoting longer, healthier living. Inspired by the Red Sea's purity, AMAALA offers spaces for deep connections with nature, oneself, and the community.
RSG has awarded over 600 contracts worth nearly SAR23 billion ($6.13bn) to global partners who share its vision for sustainable luxury and wellness destinations. These partners are committed to responsible development practices and collaborating with local communities.

The Equinox Resort at Triple Bay Marina Village has reached its structural peak, while work on the Village Boutique Hotel's main building, condos, and villas is nearing completion. This vibrant hub will soon feature scenic boardwalks, waterfront restaurants, luxurious boutiques, and well-known retailers against the stunning Red Sea backdrop.
AMAALA will be powered entirely by solar energy, reducing CO2 emissions by nearly half a million tons annually. The Wellness Core area includes 220 buildings, with superstructures present on 80% of them. Guests can enjoy world-leading wellness resorts like Jayasom and Clinique La Prairie for mental, physical, and energetic regeneration.
John Pagano, CEO of RSG Group, stated, "We have achieved remarkable progress across every aspect of AMAALA, from our signature resorts and immersive experiences to essential utilities and infrastructure. Our unwavering focus is on infusing sustainability and regenerative principles into every facet of development."
Infrastructure Advancements
The Marina basin was flooded by the end of 2023, with contracts for floating pontoons and fixed decks awarded as final touches are added to this central feature. At AMAALA Yacht Club, all construction contracts have been awarded; concrete works are nearly complete, with structural steel and MEP works underway.
The Ministry of Health approved the design of the AMAALA Hospital earlier this year. This hospital will provide healthcare services to residents and visitors within the 4,200 km² destination.
Future Prospects
Once completed, AMAALA will offer nearly 4,000 hotel rooms across 30 hotels and 1,200 luxury villas, apartments, and estate homes. It will also include high-end retail outlets, fine dining options, wellness centres, and recreational facilities.
As development progresses in key areas of AMAALA towards completion, each milestone brings the destination closer to welcoming guests. The project seamlessly integrates meaningful spaces for people and the planet to flourish.
This ambitious project continues to redefine coastal living with a focus on sustainability and wellness at its core.
