Liwa International Festival 2025 Begins On December 13 With Exciting Motorsports And Cultural Events

The Liwa International Festival 2025 (LIWA 2025) is set to captivate audiences from 13th December to 4th January in Abu Dhabi's Al Dhafra region. This event promises a thrilling mix of motorsports, entertainment, and cultural experiences, attracting motorsports enthusiasts and families alike. The festival unfolds beneath the towering Tal Moreeb, the UAE's highest dune.

Key motorsport events kick off with the Freestyle Drift competition on 13th–14th December. Following this, the Buggy Torque Challenge on 15th December will feature high-speed buggies racing across the dunes. On 19th December, the Liwa Burnout Challenge will present roaring engines in burnout contests.

The Liwa Drift Championship is scheduled for 21st December. Here, professional drivers will showcase their drifting prowess. The excitement continues on 22nd December with the Bike Drag Racing event, bringing high-speed bike races to the desert landscape.

Later in December, on 27th–28th, the Monster Jam show will take centre stage. It features the world's largest monster truck event alongside an exclusive Pit Party. As the month ends, from 30th to 31st December, the Car Stunt Championship will dazzle spectators with breathtaking stunts by top-tier drivers.

On New Year's Day, 1st January 2025, the Electronic Freestyle Championship will blend motorsports with advanced technology for an electrifying spectacle. The festival concludes with the Moreeb Dune Car Championship from 2nd to 4th January. This event challenges participants to conquer Liwa's renowned dunes.

Evening Entertainment and New Attractions

Each evening at 8 pm, visitors can enjoy a vibrant fireworks display that enhances the festive mood. LIWA 2025 introduces two new attractions: the Hollywood Circus and Shams Liwa Ferris Wheel. The circus will entertain with acrobats, magicians, and clowns while the Ferris wheel offers panoramic views of Tal Moreeb and its desert surroundings.

This year's festival promises an unforgettable experience combining adrenaline-fueled activities with cultural highlights under Abu Dhabi's iconic dunes.
