LPTC Celebrates Winners Of Riyadh International Book Fair Awards At King Saud University

The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission (LPTC) celebrated the winners of the Riyadh International Book Fair 2024 awards at King Saud University. Dr. AbdulLatif Al-Wasil, General Manager of LPTC, highlighted the fair's role in enhancing culture and supporting Saudi Arabia's publishing industry. He commended all participating publishers for their significant contributions to this cultural event.

Dr. Mohammed Hasan Al-Awan, CEO of LPTC, acknowledged the sponsors of the Riyadh International Book Fair 2024. He honoured award winners and representatives from the "Cultural Channel," a sponsor of the fair. Additionally, he recognised CASHIN, the technical sponsor, for providing innovative solutions that improved payment and purchasing experiences at the event.

Winners of Riyadh Book Fair Awards Honoured

The "Excellence in Publishing" award for children's literature was given to Hamad Bin Khalifa University Press. This recognition was for their efforts in creating content that enriches young minds and promotes reading and learning among children. Their work aims to inspire future generations through engaging literature.

Dar Jabal Amman Publishers received the "Excellence in Publishing" award for digital platforms. They were acknowledged for using digital media to spread knowledge and reach a broader audience creatively. Their innovative approach has made information more accessible to many people.

Aser Al-Kotob was awarded the "Excellence in Publishing" award for translation. This accolade recognised their efforts in bridging communication gaps between different languages and cultures. They have played a crucial role in transferring ideas and knowledge across cultural boundaries.

Tatheer Publishing and Distribution earned the "Excellence in Publishing" award for outstanding Saudi content. This award supports local creativity by recognising works that reflect Saudi Arabia's rich culture and heritage. Their contributions highlight the country's unique cultural identity.

The ceremony underscored the importance of collaboration between various stakeholders to promote cultural exchange and support the publishing sector in Saudi Arabia. The awards celebrated achievements that contribute significantly to these goals.
