DIHAD And Kuwait Association For Needy Families Discuss Sustainable Strategies For Humanitarian Work

DIHAD Sustainable Organisation, in partnership with the Kuwait Association for Needy Families (KANF), hosted a panel discussion titled "Leading Change in Humanitarian Work through Sustainable Strategies and Global Partnerships." The event took place at the Regency Hotel in Kuwait under the patronage of Dr Khaled Amer Al Ajmi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs in Kuwait.

The gathering brought together key figures and experts from development and humanitarian sectors. They explored methods to advance the humanitarian ecosystem by strengthening sustainability through effective partnerships and strategies that have a lasting impact. This collaboration aims to enhance both local and international efforts in sustainable development.

Kuwait Panel on Sustainable Humanitarian Strategies

Dr Khaled Amer Al Ajmi emphasised the significance of partnerships between local and international institutions. He highlighted that these collaborations are crucial for improving sustainable development and humanitarian outcomes. Al Ajmi praised Kuwaiti and global entities for transforming humanitarian values into real initiatives, stressing the need to balance immediate relief with long-term development.

Abdulsalam Al Madani, Chairman of DIHAD Sustainable Organisation, underscored the role of sustainable partnerships in strengthening institutional systems. He stated, "Balanced collaboration between humanitarian and development entities is key to achieving sustainable impact." He added that DIHAD aims to redefine humanitarian work as a catalyst for development, empowerment, and balance through regional and international partnerships.

Bader Hamad Al Mubarak, Chairman of KANF, along with Khaled Al Attar, Director-General of DIHAD Sustainable Organisation, discussed fostering innovation. They focused on promoting cooperation among public, private, and international sectors to enhance community resilience. Their approaches aim to transform humanitarian initiatives into sustainable programmes that support regional cooperation.

The discussions centred on converting humanitarian efforts into sustainable development programmes. These programmes are designed to reinforce regional and international cooperation while upholding values such as generosity and shared responsibility. The goal is to create a more resilient community through these collaborative efforts.
