Leaders And Entrepreneurs Across Dubai Unite For A Shared Vision Of A Promising Future

Mohammad Al Gergawi, Chairman of The Executive Office of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairman of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), highlighted the unified vision among Dubai's leaders, entrepreneurs, and employees. This vision aims to create a promising future for the city. He emphasised this during his opening remarks at the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum in Dubai.

Al Gergawi noted that the forum is unique for gathering 1,000 top leaders from both public and private sectors in Dubai. "We are all part of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s team," he stated, stressing unity beyond departmental or corporate boundaries. The forum aims to establish best practices in leadership and management aligned with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision.

Dubai Leaders Unite for a Promising Future

Addressing attendees, Al Gergawi said everyone is part of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s team, regardless of their position or sector. This team has shown that 'impossible' is not in their vocabulary. Under Sheikh Mohammed's leadership, they transformed the desert into a global city and will continue until Dubai becomes a model for other cities worldwide.

The forum reflects H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s philosophy that leadership is a responsibility and achievement is a culture. It serves as an exceptional gathering for leaders, educators, and entrepreneurs to collectively learn, dream, and plan towards making Dubai the best city globally.

Al Gergawi explained that the forum embodies Sheikh Mohammed's leadership approach rooted in ambition and public service as the highest responsibility. It focuses on bold decisions driving transformation and turning challenges into opportunities as core skills. Leadership is about inspiration that unites teams and develops cities.

He added that H.H. Sheikh Mohammed taught them leadership isn't just a title or administrative step but a duty guiding an entire city. Unifying efforts across all sectors is crucial for creating a globally leading city.

Public-Private Partnership

The private sector in Dubai plays an integral role in shaping the future through solid partnerships with the public sector based on trust and integration. This trust has positioned the private sector as a main driver of Dubai’s economy across various fields, contributing significantly to its success as a leading model regionally and globally.

Al Gergawi concluded by urging entrepreneurs and government officials to use their forum attendance as a starting point for proposing bold ideas and launching initiatives. This aligns with Dubai’s vision of creating its future rather than waiting for it.

"Today, we carry double the responsibility," he remarked. "His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expects great success from us. Dubai and its people deserve the best quality of life."
