HRH Princess Sara Announces Launch Of Misk Heritage Museum 'Asaan' In Diriyah To Celebrate Saudi Culture

The Misk Heritage Museum "Asaan" has been introduced by HRH Princess Sara bint Mashhour bin Abdulaziz, the wife of HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. This museum will be located in Diriyah, a significant heritage site in Saudi Arabia. It aims to become a global cultural centre that celebrates both tangible and intangible aspects of Saudi heritage.

Supported by the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation "Misk," the museum will play a crucial role in promoting cultural sustainability through its diverse programs and activities. As a non-profit entity, it is committed to preserving and celebrating the rich and varied heritage of Saudi Arabia. The Asaan Museum will cover an area of over 40,000 square meters and feature an innovative design by Zaha Hadid Architects. This design draws inspiration from traditional Najdi architectural styles, reflecting the Kingdom's identity while incorporating modern creativity. Upon opening, it will house thousands of artifacts that narrate vivid stories of the past.
