Riyadh Governor Announces Launch Of The Global Cybersecurity Forum For 2024

Riyadh Region Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz announced the start of the fifth annual Global Cybersecurity Forum. This event, held under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, focuses on "Scaling Cohesive Advancement in Cyberspace." Organised by the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) with support from the Global Cybersecurity Forum Foundation and Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE), it spans two days.

The forum attracts senior decision-makers and experts from governments, private sectors, and academia across 128 countries. Prince Faisal highlighted that this year's forum included a keynote speech by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Crown Prince stressed the crucial connection between cyberspace and economic growth, societal prosperity, individual security, and state stability.

Prince Faisal expressed gratitude to all participants, wishing them success in their engagements. The forum underscores Saudi Arabia's leadership in cybersecurity on national, regional, and international fronts.
