Latifa Bint Mohammed Launches AEEDC Dubai 2025, Showcasing Innovations In Dentistry
The 29th UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai 2025) was inaugurated by H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. This event, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is recognised as the largest global gathering for dentistry. It showcases 5,328 brands from 3,924 international companies specialising in advanced dental care technologies.
During her visit to AEEDC Dubai 2025, H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed explored various international pavilions and company platforms. Accompanied by Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, and Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, she engaged with exhibitors and industry leaders to learn about the latest innovations in oral health.
This year's conference theme is ‘Education & Innovation Transfer,’ while the exhibition theme is ‘Leading the Dental World into the Future.’ These themes highlight a commitment to advancing knowledge and innovation in dentistry. AEEDC Dubai continues to drive industry advancements through digital transformation and innovative solutions that are set to redefine oral care globally.
The event has attracted over 66,000 visitors from 155 countries, making it a significant platform for knowledge exchange. With 193 expert speakers delivering a comprehensive scientific programme of 163 sessions, 23 workshops, and 219 scientific poster presentations, AEEDC Dubai showcases the latest research and advancements in dentistry.
AEEDC Dubai 2025 has seen increased international participation with country pavilions from Brazil, Switzerland, Germany, Turkey, South Korea, China, Spain, Italy, the United States, Asia-Pacific regions, Eastern Europe, Russia, Japan, Pakistan, and France. These nations present their latest dental healthcare innovations.
The event features 11 distinguished scientific forums where experts discuss recent advancements in dentistry. Notable forums include the First MENA Zygoma Summit and Pediatric Dentistry Forum. The Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) Forum at AEEDC Dubai also plays a key role in these discussions.
Significance of Kuwait's Participation
H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed visited the Kuwait pavilion at AEEDC 2025. She emphasised Kuwait’s role as Guest of Honour as a testament to its enduring partnership with the UAE. This collaboration fosters innovation across sectors like healthcare and dentistry through shared progress.
