At the opening ceremony, notable figures from Dubai Culture, d3, and L'ÉCOLE's leadership, including Nicolas Bos, Global President & CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels; Lise MacDonald, Global President of L'ÉCOLE; Alessandro Maffi, President of Van Cleef & Arpels Middle East & India; and Sophie Claudel, Director of L'ÉCOLE Middle East, were present. L'ÉCOLE Middle East has kicked off its operations with an ambitious start, offering 13 public courses and inaugurating its first regional exhibition titled ‘Gold and Treasures: 3000 Years of Chinese Ornaments’. This exhibition presents a carefully selected collection of 100 masterpieces from the Mengdiexuan Collection alongside pieces from L'ÉCOLE’s own collection, showcasing the evolution of goldsmithing in China across millennia.

The courses offered at L'ÉCOLE Middle East cover various aspects of jewelry design, art history, and gemology. These programs are designed to provide students with a deep dive into the world of jewelry arts under the tutelage of seasoned professionals. In a significant move towards social responsibility, L'ÉCOLE Middle East has pledged to donate all proceeds from its public courses and talks to Dubai Cares, supporting educational initiatives for underprivileged children and youth globally.
