Latifa Bint Mohammed Celebrates Qatar National Day At Reception In Dubai
H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, attended a reception in Dubai. The event was hosted by the Consulate General of Qatar at the Grand Hyatt Hotel to celebrate Qatar National Day. Upon her arrival, Saeed bin Ali Al Hajri, Consul General of Qatar in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, welcomed Her Highness.
During the event, H.H. Sheikha Latifa conveyed congratulations from the UAE's leadership, government, and people to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar. She expressed warm wishes for Qatar's ongoing progress and prosperity under its wise leadership. Her Highness highlighted the strong fraternal ties between the two nations.
The reception saw attendance from several notable figures including Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade; Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future; and Maryam Al Hammadi, Minister of State and Secretary General of the UAE Cabinet. These dignitaries were part of a larger group celebrating the occasion.
Other prominent attendees included Major General Talal Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Director-General of Dubai's State Security Department; Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police; and Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA. Their presence underscored the importance of this diplomatic event.
The gathering also featured Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA in Dubai; Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC; and Mohammad Ali Rashid Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers. Many other senior officials and dignitaries joined them in marking this significant day.
Members from both Arab and foreign consular missions in Dubai attended alongside members of the Qatari community residing in the UAE. This diverse attendance highlighted the strong international relations fostered by such events.
