Kyrgyzstan And UAE Unite To Advance Societal Wellbeing Through Knowledge Exchange

In a significant step towards enhancing societal wellbeing, the First Lady of the Kyrgyz Republic, Aigul Japarov, recently held discussions with Abdulla Nasser Lootah, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange of the UAE, along with members of the UAE Knowledge Exchange Office. The meeting focused on reviewing various initiatives by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic designed to improve the quality of life for its citizens.

This interaction was part of a broader visit by the UAE Knowledge Exchange Office delegation to Kyrgyzstan, marking a pivotal moment in the strategic partnership between the two nations aimed at government modernization. A highlight of this visit was the delegation's tour of an orphanage, showcasing Kyrgyzstan's commitment to community development and support for orphaned children. The visit also served as an opportunity for the UAE delegates to gain insights into several government-led initiatives targeted at boosting societal wellbeing.

Kyrgyzstan-UAE Enhance Wellbeing

The collaboration between the UAE and Kyrgyzstan took a practical turn with the launch of the "Young Leaders Programme" and the second cohort of the Kyrgyz Government Accelerators. These initiatives were unveiled in ceremonies graced by senior government officials, underlining the commitment of both countries to foster leadership and accelerate government efficiency.

The foundation for this burgeoning partnership was laid earlier in 2021 when both nations signed a bilateral cooperation agreement. Spearheaded by Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the UAE, and Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, this agreement encompasses nine critical areas: government accelerators, capacity building, economy, youth, sustainability, coding, government development, government services, and government excellence.

This collaboration underscores a mutual dedication to modernizing governmental operations and enhancing public services. Through such international partnerships, both countries aim to achieve significant advancements in governance and societal wellbeing.
