Kuwait Skywatchers To Witness Three Celestial Events In July
Al-Ujairi Scientific Center has revealed that Kuwait will experience three significant astronomical events in early July, as reported by Al-Qabas daily. Astronomy enthusiasts can look forward to these celestial occurrences.
The first event involves the conjunction of the moon with Mars. This spectacle will be visible to the naked eye in the early hours of Tuesday. Observers should look towards the eastern horizon from 12:46 midnight on Monday-Tuesday until just before sunrise at 4:52 am local time.
On Wednesday morning, another celestial event will occur. The moon will align with Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system. This alignment can be seen towards the eastern horizon after midnight until just before sunrise.
Next Sunday, Mercury will reach its closest point to the moon during its waxing crescent phase. This event is observable with the naked eye towards the western horizon from sunset until around 8:00 pm. These events provide a unique opportunity for sky watchers in Kuwait to witness rare planetary alignments and enjoy the beauty of our solar system.
