The Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) has joined the AI Infrastructure Partnership (AIP), a collaboration involving MGX, BlackRock, Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), and Microsoft. Established in September 2024 by BlackRock, GIP, MGX, and Microsoft, AIP aims to mobilise US$30 billion in equity capital from investors, asset owners, and corporations. With debt financing included, this could potentially reach US$100 billion. The partnership has grown significantly over the past year with technology partners like NVIDIA, xAI, and Cisco joining.
