Kuwait Consulate Advises Nationals In UAE To Stay Indoors
Amidst concerns about the weather conditions in the UAE, Ali Al-Thaydi, Kuwait Consul General in Dubai, issued a warning to Kuwaiti students and nationals residing in the UAE. He emphasized the importance of staying indoors until the weather situation improves. This advisory comes in light of the UAE National Emergency and Crisis and Disasters Management Authority elevating the alert level across the country due to anticipated adverse weather on May 2 and 3.
In a statement to KUNA on Wednesday, Al-Thaydi announced the temporary closure of the Kuwaiti consulates general in Dubai and the northern emirates on Thursday as a precautionary measure against the expected bad weather. He strongly encouraged Kuwaiti nationals to follow safety guidelines provided by the competent UAE authorities. Al-Thaydi expressed confidence in the UAE's ability to manage the current weather-related challenges efficiently and ensure the safety of all residents.
