Kuwait Announces Cabinet Reshuffle: New And Reappointed Ministers

Kuwait's Emir His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah a decree on Sunday to reshuffle the cabinet. This decree includes reappointments and new appointments to various ministerial positions.

Abdulrahman Badah Al-Mutairi continues as Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs. Dr. Nora Khaled Al-Mashaan remains as Minister of Public Works, while Omar Saud Abdulaziz Al-Omar retains his role as Minister of State for Communications Affairs. Mahmoud Abdulaziz Mahmoud Bushehri is reappointed as Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy. Dr. Amthal Hadi Hayef Al-Huwailah will continue serving as Minister of Social Affairs and Family and Childhood Affairs.

The decree also introduces new members to the cabinet. Khalifa Abdullah Dhahi Ajeel Al-Askar has been appointed as Minister of Commerce and Industry. Abdullatif Hamed Hamad Al-Meshari takes on the roles of Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs. Dr. Nader Abdullah Mohammad Al-Jallal is now the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, also acting as Minister of Education. Nora Suleiman Al-Fassam has been named Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs.
