KSrelief's Extensive Humanitarian Projects Discussed By Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah At Madinah Heart Conference
Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of KSrelief, shared that since 2015, KSrelief has implemented 3,135 projects in 105 countries, with a total value exceeding $7.144 billion. Yemen has been the largest beneficiary, receiving 62.74% of this aid, which amounts to over $4.482 billion. Dr. Al Rabeeah made these comments at the third Madinah Heart International Conference.
The conference was a three-day event organized by the Madinah Health Cluster in collaboration with the Saudi Heart Association. Dr. Al Rabeeah emphasized that KSrelief was established under King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's initiative to promote Saudi Arabia's humanitarian efforts globally, adhering to transparency, neutrality, and professionalism.

KSrelief has launched several specialized programs for Yemen, including the MASAM project for mine clearance and initiatives for prosthetic limbs and reintegration of children involved in armed conflicts. Dr. Al Rabeeah also mentioned platforms like the Saudi Aid Platform and the Saudi Aid for Refugees and IDPs platform.
He highlighted other initiatives such as the Saudi International Volunteer Portal and Sahem Platform for online donations. These platforms aim to enhance oversight and documentation of humanitarian activities. Additionally, KSrelief is working on establishing a center for humanitarian research and implementing international volunteer programs.
Dr. Al Rabeeah noted that KSrelief has signed 34 agreements with various entities including governments, UN bodies, international organizations, Saudi universities, and civil society groups. These partnerships aim to strengthen humanitarian efforts across different regions.
The organization is also conducting field surveys on nutrition and food security in Yemen while developing a comprehensive humanitarian assistance strategy for the country.
Saudi Conjoined Twins Program Achievements
The achievements of the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program were also highlighted by Dr. Al Rabeeah. The program has studied 143 cases from 62 countries and successfully performed 61 separation surgeries.
Deputy Governor of Madinah Region Prince Saud bin Khalid bin Faisal recognized Dr. Al Rabeeah for KSrelief's collaboration with the Madinah Health Cluster in delivering medical services globally.
This recognition underscores KSrelief's commitment to providing essential medical aid worldwide through strategic partnerships and innovative programs.
