KSrelief Honoured With Global Humanitarian Achievement Award For International Relief Efforts

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has received the Global Humanitarian Achievement Award. This accolade was presented by the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations, acknowledging KSrelief's impactful international relief efforts. Delano Roosevelt, the council's second President and CEO, handed the award to KSrelief Supervisor General Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah in Washington.

Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah expressed that this award signifies global recognition of Saudi Arabia's pivotal role in humanitarian aid through KSrelief. He highlighted the Kingdom's dedication to supporting those in need, aiding crisis-affected individuals, and assisting refugees wherever possible. Saudi Arabia remains a leader in charitable initiatives and is at the forefront of donor countries globally.

Established in 2015 under King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's directives, KSrelief has carried out 3,105 projects across 104 countries. These initiatives have amounted to $7.1 billion, covering vital areas such as health, education, food security, shelter, water, and environmental sanitation. The center also coordinates humanitarian operations worldwide.

KSrelief aims to lead in relief activities by adhering to top international standards and best governance practices. Its operations are guided by values like neutrality, transparency, quality, professionalism, creativity, partnership building, and community support.
