KSrelief Enhances Global Humanitarian Efforts Through Strategic UN Partnerships

Saudi Arabia plays a pivotal role in offering aid and support both regionally and globally, driven by a vision focused on fostering peace and sustainable development. This commitment is evident through its national institutions, particularly the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), which spearheads humanitarian initiatives to assist communities in need.

Since its inception a decade ago, KSrelief has launched 3,786 humanitarian projects in 109 countries worldwide, with a total expenditure of $8.21 billion. These efforts underscore Saudi Arabia's dedication to improving global stability and quality of life through targeted relief actions.

KSrelief's Role in Global Humanitarian Aid

KSrelief has established significant partnerships with key international organizations to amplify its impact. Collaborations with entities such as the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), UNICEF, and the World Health Organization (WHO) have been instrumental.

These alliances have facilitated the execution of 411 projects valued at $3.47 billion across various essential sectors. Such collaborations highlight Saudi Arabia's strategic approach to addressing global humanitarian needs effectively.

The Kingdom actively participates in global observances like United Nations Day, celebrated annually on October 24. This participation reaffirms Saudi Arabia's support for the UN and its agencies dedicated to aiding vulnerable populations worldwide.

By aligning with international efforts, Saudi Arabia aims to enhance the prospects of global humanitarian action, demonstrating its commitment to collective progress and cooperation.

Through these initiatives, Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen its role as a key player in international humanitarian efforts, contributing significantly to peace and development on a global scale.
