KSrelief Strengthens Partnerships With UN To Aid Needy Nations And Enhance Humanitarian Work
Saudi Arabia, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), continues to strengthen its partnerships with United Nations humanitarian organizations. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Day on October 24, which highlights global efforts to support those in need and advance humanitarian work worldwide.
Since its inception, KSrelief has undertaken 3,105 projects in 104 countries, investing over $7 billion. The Kingdom stands as a major donor to UN agencies involved in relief efforts. Through KSrelief, Saudi Arabia actively addresses international crises alongside UN partners.

The collaboration between Saudi Arabia and UN agencies has resulted in 345 projects valued at $2.854 billion. These initiatives span crucial areas such as health, nutrition, education, food security, agriculture, water, sanitation, and environmental health.
Key organizations involved include the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), UNICEF, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), WHO, UNFPA, WFP, UNHCR, UNDP, OHCHR, OCHA, FAO, and UN Women.
The Kingdom's efforts align with directives from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. Their aim is to support nations in need and foster cooperation with UN bodies for humanitarian aid and community peace.
Saudi Arabia's commitment also focuses on accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These goals aim to enhance prosperity and well-being globally.
The Kingdom's dedication to humanitarian causes reflects its ongoing commitment to global welfare and development. By working closely with international organizations, Saudi Arabia seeks to make a significant impact on communities worldwide.
