KSrelief To Support 148 Orphans In Yemen’s Aden On Arab Orphan Day
In a significant move to support vulnerable youths, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) announced its sponsorship of 148 orphans in Yemen's Aden Governorate. This initiative, revealed yesterday, aligns with the Arab Orphan Day, celebrated on the first Friday of April each year. It represents the second phase of an extensive KSrelief project that spans eight Yemeni governorates, including Aden, Lahj, Hadhramaut, Al-Mahra, Al-Hudaydah, Taiz, Ma'rib, and Al-Jawf.
The project's primary goal is to empower 440 families by fostering sustainable job opportunities. This approach not only provides them with a consistent income but also ensures access to essential services such as education and healthcare. The initiative is particularly focused on alleviating the economic challenges faced by families who have lost their primary earners. By bolstering their financial stability, the program aims to keep orphans in school and engaged in their education.

Additionally, KSrelief plans to distribute school bags to 1,300 orphans across the targeted governorates. This gesture is part of a broader effort to improve the living conditions of Yemeni orphans, reduce their suffering, and open up opportunities for a more hopeful future. The initiative underscores Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to providing humanitarian aid to Yemeni orphans and enhancing their quality of life.
This comprehensive program by KSrelief is a testament to Saudi Arabia's dedication to humanitarian relief efforts in Yemen. By creating job opportunities and supporting education for orphans, KSrelief aims not only to address immediate needs but also to lay the groundwork for long-term improvements in the lives of these vulnerable children and their families.
