KSrelief Dispatches Urgent Relief Aid To Flood-Affected Areas In Pakistan

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has once again demonstrated its commitment to providing urgent humanitarian assistance, this time to the flood-affected victims in Balochistan Province, Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Today, an impressive consignment containing 1,188 tons of food and shelter supplies was delivered, marking a significant effort to support those in dire need.

The dispatched aid encompasses 9,000 essential food baskets, with each basket weighing 97 kilograms, alongside 9,000 emergency shelter kits. These kits are comprehensive, including tents, blankets, kitchen utensils, hygiene kits, water containers, flashlights, and solar panels. It is estimated that this generous contribution will benefit around 126,000 people.

The handover ceremony saw the presence of notable figures such as the Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, and the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfraz Bugti. Several other officials were also in attendance. During this event, Ambassador Al-Malki highlighted that this aid delivery is a continuation of the Kingdom's unwavering humanitarian support to the Pakistani populace through KSrelief.

Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti expressed his gratitude towards Saudi Arabia's leadership for their consistent support in times of need. He emphasized that this humanitarian aid is crucial for alleviating the suffering of families impacted by the floods. This initiative not only showcases Saudi Arabia's commitment to humanitarian aid but also reinforces the strong bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

This latest initiative by KSrelief is part of a broader spectrum of humanitarian and relief projects undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These efforts are aimed at assisting countries in need while ensuring food security for their citizens.
