The total number of landmines cleared in January reached 4,094. Since the project's inception, Masam has removed a cumulative total of 480,526 mines. These efforts aim to reduce the threat posed by randomly planted mines across Yemen.
Commitment to Safety
The presence of these landmines poses severe risks to civilians in Yemen. Children, women, and the elderly are particularly vulnerable to these hidden dangers. The Masam Project is dedicated to protecting lives by eliminating these threats.
This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian efforts to restore hope for the Yemeni people. By clearing these deadly devices, Masam aims to ensure safety and security for communities affected by conflict.
