KSrelief Launches Volunteer Programme To Assist Syrian People With Medical And Educational Initiatives

The Saudi Amal Volunteer Program was launched by Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, the Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). This initiative aims to assist the Syrian Arab Republic. The event was attended by Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Waleed El-Khereiji and other notable officials.

Dr. Al Rabeeah highlighted that this program continues Saudi Arabia's dedication to aiding Syria. It will conduct 104 volunteer campaigns covering medical, surgical, training, education, and economic empowerment activities. Over 3,000 volunteers from Saudi Arabia will participate in these efforts.

The program encompasses 45 medical and training specialties, with an estimated 218,500 volunteer hours allocated to these essential tasks. The first phase is set to commence tomorrow with three volunteer campaigns heading to Syria.

Dr. Al Rabeeah attributed these initiatives to the guidance and steadfast support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. These efforts align with Saudi Vision 2030's goals for humanitarian and volunteer work.

He expressed gratitude towards the volunteers, KSrelief staff, and various ministries including interior, national guard, defense, foreign affairs, finance, human resources and social development, health, education, and media for their crucial support.

The contributions of KSrelief's partners were also acknowledged by Dr. Al Rabeeah. These partners include organizations, institutions, universities, and non-profits that play a vital role in executing this humanitarian initiative.

This program reflects Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to providing aid and support through coordinated volunteer efforts in line with its broader vision for development and humanitarian assistance.
