KSrelief's Ramadan Food Basket Project Kicks Off In Montenegro

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has recently initiated the "Etaam" food basket project in Podgorica, Montenegro, marking a significant step in its ongoing humanitarian efforts for the year 1445 AH. This initiative was launched in a ceremony that saw the participation of notable figures including the Kingdom's ambassador to Albania and non-resident envoy to Montenegro, Faisal bin Ghazi Hefzi; the Chairman of Islamic Chaplaincy and Grand Mufti of Montenegro, Rifat Vesic; Local Parliament Speaker, Fadil Tajosevic; Montenegrin Assistant Minister of Human and Minority Rights, Amer Dasic; alongside a dedicated team from KSrelief.

The project's primary goal is to distribute 8,700 food baskets filled with essential food items to support the most vulnerable communities during the holy month of Ramadan. Ambassador Faisal Hefzi highlighted that this aid represents a continuation of the Kingdom's extensive relief and humanitarian efforts globally, channeled through KSrelief. He emphasized that such initiatives underscore the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to aiding those in need across the globe.

Expressing gratitude towards the Kingdom's support, the Grand Mufti of Montenegro acknowledged the significant impact of these efforts on vital humanitarian sectors, including enhancing food security. He also relayed messages of thanks and appreciation from the Islamic Chaplaincy to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their relentless dedication to humanitarian aid through KSrelief.

This initiative is part of a broader system of relief and humanitarian projects spearheaded by the Kingdom through KSrelief, aimed at assisting countries in need and bolstering their food security. The efforts by KSrelief not only provide immediate relief but also contribute significantly towards improving the living conditions of those facing hardships, thereby reflecting the Kingdom's role as a key player in global humanitarian assistance.
