KSrelief To Distribute Food Baskets In Guinea For Ramadan 2024
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated the Etaam food basket project for 2024 in Conakry, Republic of Guinea, marking a significant step towards aiding the most vulnerable families during the holy month of Ramadan in the year 1445 AH. The launch event saw the presence of notable figures including the Saudi Ambassador to Guinea, Dr. Fahad bin Eid Al-Rashidi, the Minister of Religious Affairs-designate, Sheikh Ibrahim Osman Bah, and the Deputy Mayor of Dixinn Municipality in Conakry, alongside the President of the Guinean Red Cross. Representatives from various international and local organizations were also in attendance, alongside a team from KSrelief.
The project's primary goal is to distribute 6,270 food baskets filled with essential items to support needy families during Ramadan. Ambassador Al-Rashidi underscored that this initiative is a part of the broader relief and humanitarian efforts spearheaded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief across various affected countries worldwide. He reiterated the Saudi leadership's dedication to aiding those in need and providing necessary assistance.

Expressing his gratitude, Minister Sheikh Ibrahim Osman Bah acknowledged Saudi Arabia's support in several critical areas. He relayed the President of Guinea's greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, lauding KSrelief's efforts in bolstering food security during Ramadan. This initiative underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment through KSrelief to support countries requiring aid and to ensure food security.
