KSrelief Sets Stage For International Conjoined Twins Conference With New Website

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched the official website for the International Conference on Conjoined Twins. This event is under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The conference will see participation from various ministries, including National Guard, Defense, Foreign Affairs, Health, Education, and Media.

Several international humanitarian and health organisations, associations, institutions, specialists, and researchers from around the world will also attend. A group of twins who have previously undergone separation surgeries will be present with their families. The conference is scheduled to take place in Riyadh over two days, coinciding with World Conjoined Twins Day on November 24. This day was adopted by the United Nations at the Kingdom's initiative.

KSrelief Launches Twins Conference Site

Advisor at the Royal Court and KSrelief Supervisor General Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah mentioned that the website aims to facilitate registration for the conference. Participants can register and keep track of all related developments through this platform. The website offers information about the venue and schedule; details of its events, activities, goals; and ministerial, scientific, and humanitarian sessions in both Arabic and English.

Dr. Al Rabeeah highlighted that hosting this conference continues the successes of the Saudi Program for Conjoined Twins initiated in 1990. Over 34 years, this program has conducted 61 successful separation operations and evaluated 139 cases from 26 countries. He attributed these achievements to the support provided by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The conference will involve ministers, leaders, and international experts specializing in separating twins. They will discuss various aspects related to conjoined twins' separation surgeries. The event aims to share knowledge and experiences to improve outcomes for future cases.

The KSrelief's initiative reflects Saudi Arabia's commitment to humanitarian efforts globally. By bringing together experts from different fields, the conference seeks to advance medical practices related to conjoined twins' separation surgeries.

This significant gathering underscores Saudi Arabia's role in leading global humanitarian initiatives. It also highlights the Kingdom's dedication to advancing medical science through collaborative efforts with international experts.

The new website serves as a comprehensive resource for all attendees. It ensures they have access to essential information about the conference's logistics and content.

The International Conference on Conjoined Twins represents a milestone in global medical collaboration. It provides a platform for sharing insights that could benefit many families worldwide facing similar challenges.

This event not only celebrates past successes but also looks forward to future advancements in medical procedures for conjoined twins.
