KSrelief Initiates 1,026 Humanitarian Projects To Empower Women Across Vulnerable Nations
Saudi Arabia has shown a strong commitment to supporting women in the world's most vulnerable regions through numerous initiatives by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) over the past ten years. KSrelief has implemented 3,135 projects in 106 countries, with a total value exceeding US$7.144 billion. Among these, 1,026 projects specifically target women's assistance.
The projects aimed at women have cost US$687.173 million and span various humanitarian sectors. These initiatives empower women to fully participate in society. KSrelief focuses on enhancing protection services for vulnerable and displaced women in targeted countries while also promoting their economic empowerment.

KSrelief's efforts include building women's capacities by offering training programs in professional and commercial fields. These programs equip women with essential skills to access income-generating opportunities, thereby improving their livelihoods and those of their families.
Since early 2024, the centre's humanitarian support has reached over 3,978 women and girls in Yemen. This support includes training, economic empowerment, and mental healthcare services. The aim is to help the most vulnerable women and girls rebuild their lives and achieve their goals.
Saudi Arabia participates globally in observing the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on November 25 each year. This day highlights the challenges faced by women worldwide while celebrating their achievements across various fields.
The collaboration with the United Nations enhances these efforts, aiming to empower women to overcome adversity and pursue their aspirations. By focusing on economic empowerment and mental health support, KSrelief contributes significantly to improving women's lives in Yemen.
The centre's initiatives are crucial for enabling women to play active roles in society. Through comprehensive training programs, KSrelief equips them with tools necessary for self-sufficiency, thereby fostering better living conditions for them and their families.
