KSrelief Collaborates In European Forum To Address Global Humanitarian Crises
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) recently marked its presence at the third session of the High-Level European Humanitarian Forum, a significant event organized by the European Commission and Belgium, reflecting Belgium's role as the President of the Council of the European Union. This pivotal gathering, held in Brussels on March 18th and 19th, brought together key international stakeholders to address the growing humanitarian needs across crisis-affected nations worldwide.
Dr. Hana Omar, Director of the Partnerships and International Relations Department at KSrelief, led the delegation, emphasizing the Center's dedication to fostering global partnerships and cooperation in humanitarian efforts. The forum's agenda was heavily focused on identifying sustainable and effective solutions to humanitarian challenges, with a special emphasis on the dire situation in Gaza.

Among the distinguished participants was Haifa Al-Jedea, ambassador and head of Saudi Arabia's mission to the EU and the European Atomic Energy Community. The forum served as a platform for the ten largest donor countries to engage in critical discussions on overcoming challenges such as the increasing financing gap and obstacles to humanitarian access amid ongoing global crises.
KSrelief's active participation in this forum underscores its unwavering commitment to enhancing international humanitarian initiatives. By collaborating with donors, international stakeholders, the European Union, and its member states, KSrelief aims to contribute significantly to addressing urgent humanitarian needs and advancing effective solutions.
