KSrelief Achieves Multiple International Awards In 2024 For Humanitarian Efforts And Contributions

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has solidified its position as a leading global humanitarian organisation. In 2024, KSrelief achieved significant milestones and received numerous international accolades. These honours highlight its exceptional contributions to humanitarian and relief efforts worldwide.

KSrelief was awarded the 2024 Family and Child-Friendly Institution Award by the Arab League's Social Affairs Sector, Family and Childhood Department. This recognition was for its support of Palestinian children and families living under occupation. The award underscores KSrelief's commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable communities.

In terms of institutional excellence, KSrelief earned the ISO 37000 Governance of Organizations and ISO 373001 Compliance Management Systems certifications. These certifications were granted after meeting international standards, with European accreditation from the UK-based PCMS company. KSrelief is among the first organisations to receive these prestigious certificates.

The Global Humanitarian Achievement Award was also bestowed upon KSrelief by the National Council on US-Arab Relations. This accolade recognises Saudi Arabia's humanitarian, relief, and volunteer efforts facilitated by KSrelief in sectors like health, nutrition, education, water, sanitation, and environmental improvement.

KSrelief's dedication to social responsibility was acknowledged with the Forbes Middle East Award for Social Responsibility. This award encourages local entities to focus on social responsibility through sustainable development programs. It aims to foster a culture of social responsibility within Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of KSrelief, expressed gratitude on behalf of the centre's team. He thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for their unwavering support.

Global Impact and Future Goals

Dr. Al Rabeeah highlighted that this support has significantly enhanced KSrelief's regional and international prominence. He reaffirmed KSrelief's commitment to intensifying efforts to achieve Saudi Arabia's humanitarian goals abroad in line with the aspirations of Saudi leadership.

"These successive achievements serve as global acknowledgements of KSrelief's pivotal role in implementing relief, humanitarian, and development projects," Dr. Al Rabeeah stated. He emphasised that these initiatives have positively impacted millions worldwide.

The centre collaborates with partners within Saudi Arabia, including ministries and agencies, as well as international organisations like those under the United Nations umbrella. These partnerships are crucial for expanding KSrelief's reach and effectiveness in delivering aid globally.
